  Amazing hostess, mouth-watering home cooked meals, some of the fitness horses who are treated like family, super cool dogs and a home away from home accomodation. What more can we ask for!?
  
  Hubby and I just finished a 3 day horse riding adventure (hubby just ran the trails) with Kathy and it was one the best holidays we’ve had.
  
  We stayed at the cabin behind the main house which was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. A great place to retreat after a long day’s ride.
  
  The riding is by far the best I have experienced having been to pretty much most places within a 5 hours drive from Sydney. Kathy’s horses are extremely well cared for and are fit and forward. I rode Toby and Dream - both of whom are well suited to my experience and such a pleasure to ride. The trails Kathy took us on were beautiful and what a great way to see another part of Australia.
  
  The food that Kathy cooked were super delicious too. The perfect meals to recharge our bodies with.
  
  Kathy - You are such an inspiration. A big thank you from Thomas and I for your hospitality. We both had an amazing time. It was the best riding I have done and we are so glad we found you! Looking forward to coming back again in a few months.

  The best weekend getaway with amazing horses only 4 hours from Sydney. The owner (Kathy) really cares about her horses and it's a pleasure to see her working with them. True horsemanship!!! All horses are forward going, reactive and good to ride. I got to ride Nadal, such a lovely, big horse. The scenery is gorgeous and dinners absolutely delicious. I can definitely recommend Southern Cross Horse Treks to all experienced riders!

  The most amazing horse riding holiday ever! Horses are happy and well looked after. One of the very few places that cater for experienced riders. You ride in small groups in all paces and speeds. Accommodation and food are of very high quality and Kathy, the owner and guide is professional and lovely. Highly recommended.

  Great horses, great location. Some days are spent riding along serene forest trails, others splashing in the breakers on a pristine beach. The horses are mostly Arabians, and live up to everything you’d expect from the breed; swift and surefooted, with tireless stamina. The two brumbies are also heaps of fun to ride, with great personalities! The forward horses and wealth of opportunities for canters and gallops make it an experienced rider’s delight; but Kathy can also arrange gentler-paced rides for those who want more leisure to enjoy the lovely scenery. The accommodation is very comfortable - you can warm up by the fire in winter, or cool off in the pool in summer - and the food consistently delicious. Plus there are dogs to make friends with! I’m sure I’ll be back again.

  I have had two long weekend rides with Kathy, both of which have been amazing! Her horses are incredibly well trained and fun to ride, and are fit enough to tackle the long days on the trail. The scenery in this part of the country is fabulous, and you can ride to some incredible viewpoints. A lot of the riding is through woodland trails which are very peaceful, with a good range of local wildlife to spot along the way.
  
  Kathy’s hospitality is also wonderful. The house is a great place to wind down at the end of a long day in the saddle, and you can see the horses in the field while relaxing on the sofa.
  
  I thoroughly recommend riding with Kathy, and can’t wait to visit again.
